Warsaw in Autumn
Tired and forgotten corners,
Warsaw’s old and weary mourners,
.
Fiats dead on mossy bricks,
The pain that only hope inflicts,
.
I saw you once with eyes unclouded,
Windows clogged and face beshrouded,
.
Memories which stretch across,
Tinted futures, auburn loss.

Grandfather / The Trip
Getting there is half the trip,
Grandfather said that, I think,
Bent by time and scarred by life,
Little glasses on his balding head,
If life is half the trip,
Is he waiting for the destination?

Kitten Dreams
Kittens smile when you’re away,
For an hour, or a day,
Kitten know when things are wrong,
When you’ve sung your final song,
Sitting at your grave all day,
Mad they didn’t get their way,
Though they loved you, they are vicious,
And you would have been delicious.
